Avenzor The Scientist

Avenzor,
Abu Marwan Abdel Malek Ibn Abi Alaa, was the son of one of
the most well-known physicians at his time. Avenzor
learned the principles of medicine and pharmacy from his father.
- Avenzor dedicated his whole life to medicine sciences especially
diagnostics and treatment.

His book "Al Tayseer" was translated to Latin and
printed in 1490.

"Al Tayseer" was considered the most important medical
reference in the European Schools of medicine till the end
of the 17th century.

Avenzor's most important researches and publications deeply
touched on psoriasis, fistula, otitis media, rostrum, esophageal
diseases, and the management of nephrolith.
